Escape the hustle of city life and your daily routine and embrace the great outdoors on this 1 hour horse riding adventure in the Hunter Valley. Traverse through winding trails that cover bushland and farmland as you take in the sweeping panoramas of lush greenery on horseback. Admire the vineyards and majestic mountains in the distance as you gently trot through the countryside. Each rider will be paired with a horse tailored to their physique and experienced, accompanied by a seasoned instructor leading you along an easy trail ride. This Hunter Valley horse ride is suitable for both novices and seasoned horse riders showcasing the best of the ‘Hunter’ in one hour.

  • Available seven days a week
  • Tours runs from 8am to 4pm, and depart every hour on the hour

  • This experience takes place in the Hunter Valley, NSW.
Departure Location
  • We operate from the grounds of The Hunter Valley Resort, which is located on the intersection of Hermitage Road and Mistletoe Lane, Pokolbin.
  • When you enter off Hermitage Rd please continue straight ahead down the road following the signs to The Farm, past the tennis court.
  • The tour departs from The Adventure Centre shed.
What To Bring
  • Long pants and enclosed shoes are required for this experience.
Additional Information
  • Participants must be 10 years and older
  • Maximum weight is 110kg
  • A waiver of liability must be signed by participants before the tour
  • No same day bookings. Minimum notice of 24 hours before booking is required.
  • Change of participant is not permitted
  • Spectators are welcome but must stay within the spectator designated areas
  • This experience will still run in moderate wet weather however can be cancelled or postponed in heavy rain

  • Mobile phones and camera use is not permitted whilst riding a horse - this is an insurance stipulation and horse riding does require you to have both hands on your remains at all times
  • Your guides will aim to take photos along the ride and these are available to you free-of-charge by air-drop at the end of your session.
  • Maximum of 15 participants
Cancellation Policy
  • Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
